Christmas toy service raises money for worthy causes

Monday, 10am - MONEY was raised for a range of good causes at the annual Christmas toy service at Grantham Seventh-day Adventist Church on Dudley Road.

Monday, 10am - MONEY was raised for a range of good causes at the annual Christmas toy service at Grantham Seventh-day Adventist Church on Dudley Road.A cheque for 300 was handed over to Sarah High of Homestart, with representatives from South Lincolnshire Mind and Grantham Passage receiving smaller amounts.

Toys were given to the Kingfisher Ward at Grantham Hospital with clothes and blankets being forwarded to Africa by The Stanborough Press of Alma Park.

Food parcels were also distributed to a number of elderly people in Grantham.
