Former councillor John Hurst has died
Monday, 1.15am - A FORMER district and county councillor has died suddenly at his home, aged 68.
Monday, 1.15am - A FORMER district and county councillor has died suddenly at his home, aged 68.John Hurst was found dead at his home in Barrowby Road, Grantham, on Saturday.
It is not yet known how Mr Hurst died.
Councillor Mike Williams has paid tribute to his good friend.
He said: "He was a good friend of mine, and a fellow Yorkshireman. We shared a love of cricket.
"He was a man of terrific character and high morals. He also knew how to have fun."
