Friday, 10am - DOZENS of women grabbed their bras and headed to an unusually themed event held by the town's newest Women's Institute group.The Grantham DIY WI invited members and friends along to Booby Night on Tuesday at its base in the Grantham Christian Fellowship Church, in Belton Avenue.

%%Could not get body element policy for VersionedContentId(1.29763.UNDEFINED)Club vice president Linda Voller said: "There were lots of entries in the decorate a bra competition and some fabulous efforts, ranging from a DD cup cake bra with real cup cakes, to Phantom of the Opera, Hawaiian holiday and booby bird.
%%Could not get body element policy for VersionedContentId(1.29762.UNDEFINED)"The ladies paid 1 to enter their bras and all proceeds went to Breast Cancer Care, as well as the profits from selling bra shaped cookies.

The WI group aims to transform the perception of WI, and women of all ages are encouraged to sign up.
Linda said: "Unfortunately the WI currently has a very bad image with regards to age and we are endeavouring to change that.
"With this sort of themed event, who could resist us?"
