Friday, 10.20am - LORRY driver Dave Green was on the scene when this lorry hit Barrowby Road bridge in Grantham yesterday at 11.30am.
Friday, 10.20am - LORRY driver Dave Green was on the scene when this lorry hit Barrowby Road bridge in Grantham yesterday at 11.30am.Dave said: "The trailer was far too high for the bridge and it was damaged across the front.
"When the driver reversed back up the road to turn around in Greenhill Road he clouted the sign and damaged it.
"This was one stupid driver."
The Journal started It's A Low Bridge Stoopid! campaign after three bridges in town made it into Network Rail's top ten of the most-struck bridges in the country.
