Thursday, 4.15pm - A WOMAN who is taking on a Race For Life is dedicating the challenge to her mother-in-law. When Irene Graham was diagnosed with breast cancer earlier this year and forced to undergo a double mastectomy, Liz Graham vowed to do her bit to help fund research.

She will run the 10km Race For Life in Leicester on Sunday, July 12, which is in aid of charity Cancer Research.

Liz, 38, of Derby Close, Grantham, said: "I'm doing it alone but my husband, two children and parents will be cheering me on.

"I go to the gym two or three times a week and I've started doing road running to prepare.

"I'm looking forward to the race - it will be a first time for me and any funds I raise will be kindly matched by my employer British Sugar."
