MRS Daisy Lowe, of Belvoir House Residential Home, Brownlow Street, Grantham, has died there.
MRS Daisy Lowe, of Belvoir House Residential Home, Brownlow Street, Grantham, has died there. Born at Brickyard Cottage, Woolsthorpe-by-Belvoir, to William and Agnes Pacey, she lived in the same house for 82 years, until moving to the residential home.
She married her next door neighbour, Nev Lowe.
On leaving school she worked in service for Capt and Mrs Groom at Belvoir Lodge. During the war years she worked at Wiseman's. Later she took to cleaning and worked for Ethel Pearson at the Dirty Duck, for about 10 years, later working for Bob Taylor there for over 20 years.
Mrs Lowe enjoyed gardening, darts and entertaining her family and friends.
The funeral service was held at St James Church, Woolsthorpe-by-Belvoir, conducted by Lesley Devine. Cremation followed at Grantham

Funeral arrangements were by Geesons Funeral Directors, Westgate, Grantham.
Donations were received for St James Church, Woolsthorpe-by-Belvoir.
