Nora posed behind the bar at Ancaster's Ermine Way pub, joining mums, partners and wives of coaches, local businesswomen and the lollipop lady.

She said: "I think the picture came out very good. The lady who organised it thought it would be nice for the oldest lady in the village to be in it.

"It was a bit of fun, but I didn't strip off completely."

A launch party at the Ermine Way, on Saturday, was a chance for the ladies to get together and even sign autographs.

Publicans Paul and Donna Moody helped with the launch, jointly celebrating their first anniversary at the pub.

Club chairman Darron Talton said: "All the ladies look great.

"The club is very grateful to all those who took part and wishes to thank each one of them, with a special vote of thanks to Tony Meredith, a professional photographer who gave his time for free.

"We also want to assure everyone that this has been done with the best taste and with decorum, and that we hope this means that all people will be able to buy one and show their support to the club and all it does with the young people in the village and beyond."

Sales of the calendars are expected to raise around 1,000 for the club.
