Overnight work begins on A52 tonight

Thursday, 11am - OVERNIGHT works on the A52 between Barrowby and Bottesford start tonight at 8pm.Traffic will be managed at the roadworks with a combination of lane closures, temporary traffic lights and a convoy vehicle leading traffic through the site at 10mph until 6am tomorrow morning.

These measures are expected to be in place nightly until Thursday, July 31.

The work is being done as part of a 3.1m scheme to re-surface part of the road, improve street lights and signing and repair the carriageway.

Some full weekend closures will be needed, with the first one coming into force at 10pm on Friday, August 1 until 6am on Monday, August 4.
