Poachers arrested in Ropsley

Monday, 3.20pm - POLICE arrested two men and a teenager on suspicion of poaching on Saturday night.

Monday, 3.20pm - POLICE arrested two men and a teenager on suspicion of poaching on Saturday night.The arrests took place at around 1.10am on November 8 in Braceby Road, Ropsley.

Officers taking part in Operation Trust, which is designed to combat poaching in the Grantham area, found the group acting suspiciously in the area.

They were with their vehicle and a number of dogs.

A 21-year-old West Yorkshire man, a 30-year-old North Yorkshire man and a 17-year-old from West Yorkshire were arrested on suspicion of night poaching.

They have been released on police bail, with a condition not to enter Lincolnshire until November 18.
