Friday, 11am - CHILDREN at Acorn Day Nursery are being taught all about the police at an early age.The youngsters are being visited regularly by PCSO's so they can understand the role of police officers.

Marie Sparks, owner nad manager of Acorn Day Nursery, based at Grantham Hospital, said: "The visits help the children get an idea of what the police do so they don't get freightened.

"We had one who did get a bit freightened because he thought they were going to take him away but now he know the police are good people."
