Friday, 4.30pm: HERE'S your chance to show your support for our Bus Pass Justice campaign.Just click on the links below to get a PDF of a free Bus Pass Justice poster.

Print out the poster and put in somewhere prominent - in your front window, on your noticeboard at work, in the village shop, at your club or in the pub.

South Kesteven District Council has decided not to allow disabled people and the over 65s the right to travel on public transport whenever they want - and they can only get on the bus after 9.30am.

Every other district in Lincolnshire has abandoned this restriction - and the Journal says it's time SKDC did the same.

For elderly people living in villages like Ancaster, when the bus into town arrives at 9.25 - and then again two hours later, that is totally restrictive.

Recently a group of pensioners handed in more than 500 coupons and e-mails from Journal readers to SKDC demanding they changed the rules.

But SKDC is sitting tight. They say they don't know how much it will cost to extend the scheme and are waiting six months before they review the decision.

But the campaign goes on . . .

Get your posters up wherever you can!

(Paper versions are available free of charge from the Journal office at 46 High Street, Grantham.)
