Thursday, 4.50pm - THE Journal has launched a petition on the Prime Minister's website demanding free 24-hour bus travel for over-60s and the disabled.South Kesteven District Council is the only authority in the county that doee not offer 24-hour travel to its bus pass holders.

The council says it will stick to offering off-peak travel because it does not know how much it would cost to extend the scheme.
