VIDEO: Speed camera attacked with flaming tyre

Monday, 12.50pm - A SPEED camera was destroyed by vandals who hung a flaming tyre around the device.

Monday, 12.50pm - A SPEED camera was destroyed by vandals who hung a flaming tyre around the device.The Gonerby Road speed trap was vandalised on Thursday night (April 16).

A caller contacted police to report the incident at 10.45pm and told how the flaming tyre had been used to wreck the speed trap.

The scene attracted a crowd of youngsters, some of whom were seen filming the carnage on their mobile phones.
