Friday, 9.30am - BUG man Martin Rapley entertained pupils at St Hugh's Maths and Computing College on Wednesday with scorpions, tarantulas and a praying mantis.Martin travels across the country teaching children about exotic bugs, including an emperor scorpion and red knee tarantula.

On Wednesday morning children at St Hugh's were given the chance to see the creatures up close.

Some of the braver pupils allowed stick insects to crawl over their hands and up their arms.

Martin said: "The most important thing is for the children to leave here knowing a little bit about the bugs I've shown them."
