Wednesday, 4.15pm - DADS can enjoy spending quality time with their kids at a group organised by Belton Lane Children's Centre twice a month. The Dads' Group has been running for three years and was set up to help dads bond with their kids as well as make new friends themselves.

Art and craft activities are organised and play rooms are available at the centre on meeting days.

Activities and weekends away are also organised for the dads themselves.

Community family support worker Louise Clark said: "Attendance to the group is really good. It's additional support out of work hours for fathers.

"It's also for fathers who might only see their children at weekends."

Attendance at the group is free and bacon butties are provided to encourage dads to go along.

For more details about the group contact Belton Lane Children's Centre on 01476 584640.
