A disabled woman cannot walk out of her own back garden because of a constant string of fly-tipping.

Dee Valance, of Brewery Hill, Grantham, is sick and tired of clearing other people’s mess dumped at the back of her home.

Items fly-tipped regularly include building materials, televisions and mattresses.

She said: “I try to clear it but there’s so much of it and you don’t know what’s in there - beer bottles, drug needles.”

Dee has found the rubbish is also attracting unwanted attention.

She said: “We’ve reported rats. The council says there aren’t any but I know what a rat looks like.”
