GEMMA Pearce, daughter of Marlene Jackson, of Grantham, and Andy Pearce, of Grantham, and Scott Newcombe, son of Sue and Andrew Newcombe, of Grantham, were married at St John the Evangelist Church, Manthorpe. The service was conducted by the Rev Jill Potts.
Given away by her father, the bride wore a full-length, strapless dress with diamante detail and matching veil. She carried white and pink roses.
Chief bridesmaid was Becky Roberts and other bridesmaids were Shai Clarke, bride’s niece, Laura Jackson, bride’s sister, Steph Newcombe, bridegroom’s sister, and Jodie Sharpe. They wore strapless, baby pink satin, dresses with diamante detail to the top and carried posies of pink and white roses. Flower girl was Eva Jackson, bride’s god daughter.
Page boys were Tommy, Timmy, Harry and Olly Pearce, couple’s sons, Ashton Newcombe, bridegroom’s nephew, and Khan Clarke, bride’s nephew. Best man was Nathaniel Smith. Ushers were Stephen Clarke, bride’s brother, and Aisa Newcombe, bridegroom’s brother.
A reception was held at the Ramada Hotel, Grantham, and a honeymoon followed in Riviera Maya, Mexico. The couple will live in Grantham. Gemma is a housewife and full-time mum whose interests include darts, walking and Zumba classes. Andy works for South Kesteven District Council and enjoys darts and football.
