Sports charity Inspire + held a holiday camp at Belton Lane Primary School during the October half-term.
The camp was a chance for young people to experience a range of Olympic and Paralympic sports, inluding archery, badminton, athletics, blind football and seated volleyball. Arts and crafts activities were also set up.
More than 50 young people were involved. Inspire+ officer Chris Graves said: “What an amazing three days it was. It gave the children chance to try sports they’d seen at London 2012 and provided lots of fun for all the staff and children involved. The feedback from parents was very positive with many booking on to the next camp.”
The next camp will be held on February 18-20. To find out more, e-mail email@example.com
