A fair will take place in Grantham tomorrow with more than 30 stallholders selling all things vintage.
The Vintage Fair will take place from 10am to 4pm in the Jubilee Church Life Centre on London Road. Stallholders will be selling vintage clothes, homeware, children’s new and pre-loved clothes and toys, shabby chic furniture and decoupaged gifts. Crafters will be selling bunting and homemade items.
For those visitors who really want to be transported back in time, The Vintage Head will be on hand to transform you into a 40s film star, complete with the ‘Victory Roll’ hairdo, makeup and false eyelashes.
Tea with Bea, a pop-up vintage tea room, will be serving traditional cream teas, Victoria sponge and other traditional cakes all served on vintage china.
Organiser Debbie Firmstone said: “I felt it would be a great idea to bring Vintage to Grantham and organise an event for the people of Grantham and surrounding villages and also provide an event for the younger audience in the area. I love all things vintage and the idea of recycling and bringing old things to life, and have many friends who sell vintage clothes and homeware and also friends who knit and crochet and relove old furniture. So I thought this would be a great opportunity for them to have an outlet for their beautiful things and get their name on the map, as often these people cannot afford a premises of their own”.
Entry to the fair is 50p. For more details call 07888 679118 or go to www.facebook.com/beasboutiquegrantham
