ON Monday, November 7 I underwent open surgery for the removal of my gall bladder and was then placed in Ward 5 at Grantham Hospital.
I am writing to express my sincere gratitude to all concerned. From the outset I was shown the uppermost courtesy and respect by all the staff. The surgical team were brilliant, and as for the nursing staff, I can’t find words adequate enough to praise them. Everyone worked hard and nothing was too much trouble.
The ward itself was spotlessly clean and the food was excellent. All in all I feel fortunate to have been placed in such care.
People are only too quick to complain, so I think it only right to praise where praise is due.
I am pleased to say that I have made a full recovery and the operation was a complete success.
