There are some amazing, selfless people living in the Grantham area - and what better way to recognise them than with an awards

ceremony?

The popular Grantham is Great Awards are back again this year, with nine categories open for nominations to ensure all those who give their time, overcome adversity or have an incredible talent get the opportunity to shine under the spotlight.

And this year’s glittering ceremony, on Tuesday, December 3, will be held at an exciting new venue - the Guildhall Arts Centre, in St Peter’s Hill.

For the next five weeks we are inviting nominations in the following categories:

* Child Achiever Award - sponsored by the National Trust

* Youth Achiever Award - sponsored by Viking Signs

* Best Volunteer Award - sponsored by The Ramada Grantham

* Carer Award - sponsored by The Orders of St John Care Trust

* Top Teacher Award - sponsored by Moy Park

* Caring Neighbour Award - sponsored by SKDC

* Local Hero Award - sponsored by Downtown

* Senior Achiever Award - Availble for sponsorship

* Sportsperson Award - Available for sponsorship

This is a chance for you to nominate all the people who make Grantham such a fantastic place to live and work.

All you have to do is click on the link below and fill out an online form. The process takes just minutes.

The deadline for nominations is Tuesday, October 22. There is no limit on the number of nominations you can make.

Once the deadline has passed the voting begins. YOU will decide the shortlisted three to attend the awards event on December 3 and, ultimately, the winner of each category.
