I like the columns that Peter Clawson writes.
Some time ago he mentioned about rubbish bins being full. I perhaps know why. Someone at the council must have lost the keys. Look in the bus station at all the cigarette bins, all open with the lockable lid hanging down.
The ‘nub’ ends all over the pavement. I am sure Mr Clawson must have seen the chewing gum bin in Finkin Street, too. This bin has been chock-a-block over several months.
Who perhaps lost the key to this bin? People now sometimes squelch as they walk in discarded gum on the path or road. Les Malt
