Regard the Remembrance Day parade and services.

My thanks to the parade commander Lt Cdr R N Adam Jones CO 703 Naval Air Service, the parade marshall Mr W E Clark, all standard bearers and escorts for attending all remembrance time services, and all organisations who took part in the parade.

Thanks to pipe major Finlay McGee and the Waddington Voluntary Pipe Band, the police for their continued support, the bugler Chris Standen for covering the services, and all at Prince William of Gloucester Baracks.

Many thanks to the staff and childrem from St Ann’s School and all who attended the service for the civilians who lost their lives during the bombing of Grantham.

Thanks to all who attended the opening and closing of the Garden of Remembrance and the two-minutes silence on St Peter’s Hill, to SKDC for the grant of £500 to cover the cost of the band and the president of the Royal British Legion Grantham branch Mr Andrew Hawkin.

My thanks to Mr R Holland for the use of his limousine and the driver and to the Grantham Journal for their coverage.

Many thanks to Father Stuart Craddock and his team for the excellent coverage of all services, to Dee and Dignity for sponsoring the cost of the wreath and 150 crosses for the children of St Anne’s School to place at the base of an MOD headstone.
