WE wish to thank the people of Grantham for their generous contributions during our street collection held on Saturday, February 18.
We raised a splendid £273.50, which will go to the training and upkeep of guide dogs for visually impaired people. Guide dogs rely on the support of the general public as we have no central funding and it is through the very kind-hearted members of the public that we are able to continue with our work in supporting mobility for the blind and visually impaired. Thank you again.
The Guide Dogs for the Blind Association hold local meetings and the next one is on Monday, March 12 at 7pm in the Railway Club, Grantham. We are always pleased to see new volunteers. Further information can be obtained from guidedogs.org.uk/volunteeering, or call Ed or Carol on 01476 569699.
