A cake sale at a doctors’ surgery in aid of Help for Heroes has raised at least £150 after staff and patients got baking.

The sale was held by Swingbridge surgery, Swingbridge Road in Grantham, on Friday. The surgery raised £100 on the day with the sale of cakes and Help for Heroes badges and wristbands.

More cakes and biscuits were donated by bakers Watkins in Westgate. The surgery is raising more money as the badges and wristbands will remain on sale this month.
