The midwifery-managed maternity unit at Grantham Hospital will close on February 3, ULHT has confirmed.
The midwifery-managed service will continue at Lincoln County Hospital.
And the community midwife service at Grantham will continue to provide antenatal and postnatal services and home births. The trust said midwives at Grantham wished to celebrate the services they have provided over the last 15 years, and will continue to provide for the future.
Hazel Harrison, head of midwifery at ULHT said: “We wish to thank all the ladies who have used our services at the MMU over the last 15 years, and look forward to continuing to work with the community to continue to provide antenatal, postnatal and home birth services in the future.
“We will be inviting all ladies who have previously used our services to an event at the unit to celebrate the services we provide.”
