The Grantham Kesteven Rotary Club held its annual ‘Know Your Blood Pressure Day’ in The George Centre and saw a constant stream of people go along to have their blood pressure checked by health professionals.

A total of 201 people had their blood pressure taken. Of these, 48 were advised to see their GP within a month and three more urgent cases were advised to attend their GP surgery within a week, showing it once again to be a worthwhile service to the

community.

The event is promoted each year by Rotary and the Stroke Association and the Grantham event was organised by Rotarian David Griffin with assistance from other members of the club.
