People affected by diabetes are being given the chance to air their views on services provided locally.
As the UK’s leading diabetes charity, Diabetes UK cares for, connects with and campaigns on behalf of all people affected by and at risk of diabetes, reaching people in local communities across the UK.
Anybody who has experience of diabetes, as a patient or carer, can take part in one of two Lincolnshire events to share their views and experiences on diabetes care, and help shape the future of diabetes services locally.
South Lincolnshire Clinical Commissioning Group is working together with Diabetes UK to make sure that people living with diabetes in local communities get a say about the services they receive. The aim of the event is to hear from patients and carers about the care they currently receive, and to identify where improvements can be made.
Sally Clipson, Delivery & Development Manager for South Lincolnshire CCG, said; “By hosting these events, and with the support of Diabetes UK, we are focused on developing and delivering the very best care to our local communities. We are encouraging patients and carers to share their experiences of diabetes care, to help shape the future of services in Lincolnshire.”
