A young entrepreneur has returned to his home town following university and working in London to set up a new business.
Josh Smith, 23, has set up Grow Social which is designed to help local companies use social media and website technology to allow them to grow their businesses.
Josh, of Belton Lane, already runs another successful business called Grizzly, a clothing label which sells through outlets around the country and has sold to 14 countries around the world.
Josh studied at Sheffield University and worked for IBM for a year and later another company which is among the top 25 fastest growing firms in Europe. His experience working for these technology companies has spurred him on to set up his own full-time business.
Josh said: “Technology can be so powerful. This business is all about giving businesses in Grantham and further afield the ability to make use of technology properly and make full use of its potential.”
Grow Social can help companies with all aspects of social media, business in the Cloud, email newsletters, design for logos, websites and brochures, and marketing. It can support businesses at all stages of their development.
Josh said: “We can take over the accounts or just give advice about how to use the technology. If a company wants to completely outsource part of the business that’s fine, or if they just want a one-off event launched, then we can run an advertising campaign for them.”
As part of the business, Josh has help from his cousin Jack Neville, who is responsible for web design and photography. He also uses a network of designers, many of whom are graduates and students.
Josh says he would be happy to meet anybody who would like to discuss how Grow Social can help them. To speak to Josh call 07841 261505 or email email@example.com or firstname.lastname@example.org The website address is growsocial.co
