Churchyard
ON visiting Irnham churchyard to put flowers on our family graves, we were most disgusted that the churchyard was being used as a playground.
An Easter egg hunt was taking place and those involved had no respect for the dead.
They were walking over all the graves, climbing up and down on stone walling, and a dog was running loose.
We were brought up to respect churchyards, to walk on paths and keep dogs under control on leads.
Yes, have an Easter egg hunt in the village, but not in the churchyard.
