Grantham Journal letter: Treated like a royal
I would like to say a big thank-you to Asda.
When I was shopping there on Saturday, I realised to my horror that my electric scooter had a flat tyre. I cannot walk, so I was very worried.
I told a member of staff, called Dan, who rang a pick-up company to get me and my scooter home, then got their wheelchair and pushed me down to the cafe and got me a lovely cappuccino coffee.
I had to wait a long time, but Dan and other staff kept checking I was alright. I was even offered something to eat.
I could not have been better treated if I had been royalty. Well done Asda.
