Letter: Diners angry at Grantham Asda’s cafe ruling

We have shopped in Asda for many years, and usually have lunch in the cafeteria there.

On a recent visit we went for a meal and my husband sat down while I went to get served. I was refused food or drink by the manageress because my husband was sitting down at a table. I was told he would have to queue up with me if I wanted to be served.

My husband is mobility disabled and a Blue Badge holder, but the manageress did not want to know.

We then saw the manageress of the staff, who gave us a £10 voucher to get sandwiches to take away. I have since returned the vouchers.
