Park blighted by abusive drinkers
I HAVE just visited Grantham after a period of a few years and am appalled by the standard of behaviour of a minority of people, particularly in what was once a peaceful and quiet area, namely Wyndham Park.
It appears that they only get pleasure getting drunk and abusing ‘normal’ citizens going about their daily lives.
I note signs stating No Drinking.
it is not the responsibility of the park employees to enforce this rule; where are the Police Community Support Officers?
Surely it is not beyond the realms of feasability for them to take a twice-daily stroll in the problem areas to enforce these regulations?.
My memories of Grantham were of a pleasant, rural town.
This is not impossible to re-instate with a little effort from the police and the vast majority of its law-abiding citizens.
