Perhaps head teacher 'jollies' like this should be held in Afghanistan
IN response to Paul Bridle's letter (Journal, June 26) I think he has got a damn cheek calling parents "narrowminded".
IN response to Paul Bridle's letter (Journal, June 26) I think he has got a damn cheek calling parents "narrowminded".Talk about the pot calling the kettle black!
Furthermore, the comment that we "want to limit our children" borders on ridiculous
All this from a self titled ex-governor of the school in question, no wonder he is so keen to sing the praises of the hierarchy.
Parents do understand the need for children to know what is happening globally, but a head teacher going all the way to Mauritius is quite rightly bound to raise a few eyebrows.
Unfortunately every response written in the Grantham Journal has failed to justify this unnecessary expense.
Maybe holding this so-called 'jolly' in Afghanistan would have been more beneficial and commendable, but seriously what ever happened to geography lessons?
