DAREDEVIL Liam Osborne has raised more than £1,200 for charity by bungee jumping from an iconic dam featured in the James Bond film Goldeneye.

Liam, who works for Chattertons Solicitors in Grantham, jumped from the Verzasca Dam in Switzerland to raise the money for Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance - the firm’s chosen charity for the year.

The 220 metre plummet is the second highest bungee jump in the world, and Liam needed to psych himself up to complete the challenge, requiring three attempts to pluck up the courage to step off the platform.

He said: “It wasn’t until I got to the edge of the platform that I realised just how high the dam was. On each attempt my feet went further over the edge before I finally committed to jump.

“Once back on firm ground I realised what I had achieved on both a personal level and the amount of money I have raised for the charity”.

Liam is now looking for a new challenge that will help him raise even more money for the cause.
