I feel sadness at what our town has become

I WAS born in Grantham in 1947 and have spent all of my life here. I have always felt fortunate to live in such a clean, attractive market town. However, much of its charm and so many of its amenities have disappeared over the past few years, and been replaced with rubbish in doorways and streets and unkempt, empty buildings and a lack of care generally.

KFC developer will just appeal decision anyway

WITH reference to the article relating to the Development Control Meeting regarding the KFC decision, it does say that the Isaac Newton Pub has got planning permission for demolition which is correct.
