A memorial bench has been unveiled at Harrowby United Football Club in memory of Danny Walsh.
The bench was made and donated by Chris Kennedy, owner of Grantham ironwork company Roll and Scroll, in memory of Danny who was killed in July last year in Grantham.
The club is also holding a charity match day in Danny’s memory on August 2. Danny’s cousin, Adam Grant, has organised two football matches to be played on the day at noon and 3pm. There will be live entertainment during the day by local band Ruff n’ Ready.
There will be a raffle with proceeds going to the Lincolnshire air-ambulance service with buckets taken round for the same cause. There will also be a bouncy castle for children and a barbecue in the afternoon.
