Big Brother was watching Lauren Wilson at the weekend.
The 14-year-old, of Fourth Avenue in Grantham, was a housemate for a short time on Saturday as she took a tour of the famous Big Brother House, now under the umbrella of the National Trust.
She was lucky to get hold of tickets for the two-day opening to the public, as they were sold out within hours of going on sale.
Mum Lindsey Wilson said Lauren is a big fan of the Channel 5 show.
She said: “Lauren began watching some of Big Brother this year in the school holidays. We were careful over what she watched as some of the content of the show can be more grown up.
“She particularly liked watching some of the tasks and the tour ended with us going through the task room and trying on some of the props that had been used.”
The tour at Elstree Studios began with a visit to Big Brother’s ‘Bit on the Side’ studio, continuing through the camera and production areas, into the Big Brother garden, and finally into the house itself.
Lindsey said: “Whilst in the house, Lauren was called by Big Brother to the diary room, giving her the chance to climb the grand sweeping staircase to sit in the iconic diary room chair. Lauren was thrilled to speak to Big Brother personally.
“She got a further unexpected treat when she left the diary room. Walking back down the staircase, she found two of this year’s housemates - the twins, Jack and Joe!
“Lauren was surprised at how much smaller certain areas of the house were in real life, and says it was a brilliant experience.”
