A body has been discovered in the lake at Stubton Hall, between Grantham and Newark.
Lincolnshire Police officers were called to the scene just after 10am this morning (Saturday) after a member of the public reported the sighting.
It is believed the body is that of missing Patricia Lawrence. Patricia’s family have been made aware, say police.
Police do not believe the death to be suspicious.
A spokesman said: “Officers would like to thank the local community for their assistance in locating this lady.”
** 12.16pm:Searches are continuing today (Saturday) for missing woman Patricia Lawrence, who has been missing from her home in Stubton since Thursday morning.
A police helicopter using heat-seeking equipment, search and rescue dogs and a number of specialist police search officers have been drafted in in a bid to find the 65-year old.
Police have asked anyone who might have seen Patricia to contact the force on 101 and are asking residents in and near Stubton to check their outbuildings, sheds and garages in case Patricia has taken refuge there.
