Can you help Grantham Events Group?

A MEETING about the future of Grantham Events Group takes place at Fellows Cafe in Westgate, Grantham, at 5.30pm on Tuesday (August 31).

The group, which organises numerous public events including the Grantham Christmas Market and the St George’s Day Celebration, needs new members to join if it is to survive.

Following an appeal in the Journal, several new volunteers have come forward and Tuesday’s meeting has been set up to draw up a plan for the future of the group.

Chairman Tim Radley said: “If we get three or four new members it will have been a success.”
