A charity chest waxing night was worth all the pain and gained £1,500 for good causes.

The event was organised by Sophie Kay at Great Gonerby Social Club and was in aid of The Prostate Cancer Charity and Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance.

The three victims who volunteered were Andrew Challis, Alan Challis and Fred Beck. Friends and family could pay £1 to inflict pain on the victims by ripping off a strip off.

There was also a raffle with all the prizes donated by local businesses, friends and family.

Sophie said: “It was a brilliant night with lots of people there who came to support the cause and join in with the fun.”
