Court: Grantham woman warned she faces being sent to prison
A woman was warned she faces being sent to prison if she continues to disobey her court order.
Kerry Askew of Uplands Drive in Grantham appeared in court after failing to comply with the requirements of a community order after receiving a suspended prison sentence.
Askew said she had been suffering from depression in recent weeks.
Chair of magistrates Jane Tidswell told Askew that if she doesn’t comply with the requirements “we will activate the suspended sentence and you will go to prison”.
Mrs Tidswell added: “You have had a shot across the bow.”
