Court: Trial date set for poaching accused
Three men from south Yorkshire accused of poaching offences admitted one charge each but still face a trial.
Jason Goben, 38, of Ingbirchworth, Sheffield, Robert Nicholls, 24, of Cudworth, Barnsley and Lee Salt, 26, of Cudworth, Barnsley all admitted a charge of removing the carcass of a deer from land in Irnham Park, Swinstead Road, Irnham.
However, the three men all deny a second charge of killing a deer without the consent of the owner.
A trial will be held at Grantham Magistrates’ Court on April 19. The men were all bailed with the condition not to enter Lincolnshire unless to attend court or for work during the day.
