A Neighbourhood Watch group in Bottesford has issued a warning following reports of burglaries in the wider area.

In the first incident, a car parked in Casthorpe Road in Barrowby was targeted and a disc cutter (model TS420) stolen from the back seat. The theft happened some time between 2pm and 3pm on Wednesday.

Then on Thursday, a property in Muston was burgled during daylight hours.

And at the weekend, two reports came in to police from residents in Harby. In the first, a burglar tried to gain access to an office and tool storage area at a development off Main Street/Colston Lane. They also damaged the window to a fork-lift truck.

On Sunday evening, the door to a caravan parked in Main Street was forced open. An alarm sounded and the offender fled without taking anything.

Anyone with information on any of the above incidents is asked to call police on the non-emergency 101 number.
