Discs explore Grantham firm Aveling Barford
A feature on Grantham’ engineering firm Aveling Barford has been recorded by volunteers at community radio station Gravity FM.
The Friends of Gravity FM have recorded a CD, which is for sale, as part of the station’s Your Heritage series. Proceeds will go towards running costs, which are £97 daily.
Grantham historians Malcolm Knapp and John Pinchbeck feature on the discs, as do former Aveling Barford employees. Betty Elmer is storyteller and producer of the CD.
A limited supply of discs are available, at £6.50 for members of the Friends and £7.95 for non-members. If you wish to buy a CD, e-mail the office at admin@gravityfm.net
