Easton Walled Gardens will open on Friday, April 18, as part of the National Gardens Scheme to raise money for national nursing, gardening and other charitable causes.

Visitors will see the ongoing revival of the gardens, set in 12 acres of parkland with dramatic views. The gardens feature Italianate terraces, a yew tunnel, a cut flower garden, David Austin roses, iris, daffodil and sweet pea collections, a cottage and vegetable gardens.

The gardens have been in the Cholmeley family for 14 generations.

Visitors are asked to wear shoes suitable for country walking. The tearoom sells light lunches, teas and homemade cakes and the shop stocks seasonal gardening gifts. There is wheelchair access to the upper gardens, tearoom and shop but not to the lower gardens.
