Gargantuan pumpkin weighs in at 23 stone at Marston show

Gareth Williams with his enormous, award-winning pumpkin.

Gareth Williams is the proud owner of this absolute whopper of a pumpkin which was the star attraction at this year’s Marston Marston Pumpkin Club Show.

The event was held at the Thorold Arms and Gareth’s vegetable weighed in at a colossal 23 stones (146kg), despite this past year being a difficult one for pumpkin growers.
