Grantham children are living in poverty

A third of Earlesfield children (34 per cent) are living in poverty, according to figures from the “Campaign to End Child Poverty”.

The list of the worst affected wards in the region also includes Harrowby (23 per cent) and St Anne’s (17 per cent).

The national average is 20 per cent but in South Kesteven the percentage in poverty is 11 per cent.
