Grantham court: Trial of woman accused of benefits fraud adjourned

The trial of a woman accused of benefit fraud has been adjourned until July 30.

Joanne Salmon, 36, of Marshall Street, Sunderland, denies dishonestly making a false statement in Grantham, in which she said she was living with a man as husband and wife, to gain housing and council tax benefits between June 13 2011 and November 27 2012.

The trial will take place at Grantham Magistrates’ Court.
