Grantham court: Warrant for arrest issued after man fails to turn up in court

A warrant without bail has been issued for the arrest of a man accused of four shop thefts in Grantham after he failed to turn up to court this week.

Martins Klovans, 30, of Robert Street, Northampton, is accused of stealing aftershave from Asda, mascara and hair masks from Superdrug and two thefts of Nicorette gum and sunglasses from Boots, all on July 30 last year. He is accused of stealing four blocks of cheese, valued at £20, from Iceland in Lincoln on July 15, last year. He is also accused of going equipped for theft in Grantham on July 30 last year.
